China is ruled by an utmost powerful family, the Qing family. The social classes consisted of emperors and his advisers at the top, generals nobles and workers under that, then artists and peasants, and at the very bottom slaves. This created a separation among the social classes, occasionally causing riots or disagreements in the government.
How India and China have been altered by cultural, political, economic and social advancements
India is ruled by both certain princes, but was also under control of Britain for quite some time. The social class was kind of wonky however it was their social class, it went from Britain government, to the princes, to the workers and laborers, then the rest below them.
China has many trade routes like the Silk Road, it was the most influential route in the Chinese empire. Chinese religion, and cultural choices have impacted their development such as them deciding to support Buddhism, and their belief that Homo sapiens originated here.

India was also connected to the Silk Road trading system. This allowed them to acquire certain goods that they couldn't have gotten other wise, thus broadening their culture and tastes. Indians believe Hinduism, allowing them to believe in one over all supreme god, but it allows each person to believe in their own sets of gods that they will choose.
