Exposition: A slave runs away from his master and finds a tower to hide in. He discovers the treasure and the dragon; the slave decides to steal a cup to give to his master for forgiveness.
Rising Action: The dragon wakes up and chases the slave, but he couldnt catch the slave. So the dragon decides to terrorize the country side for revenge.
Climax: The dragon attacks the town. Beowulf recieves the terrible news.
Falling Action: Beowulf is defeated by the dragon and his loyal warriors run away.
Conclusion: The Geats make Beowulf a tower and put his corpse and the treasure in the tower and burns it. They made the tower by the sea so all warriors traveling on the sea will remeber him and his great tales.
Theme: The theme of this story is Good versus Evil.
