  • Hopeful: This scene is hopeful because this scene shows how Doodle first got a chance at life.

  • traumatic: This scene is a traumatic scene because it shows how Doodle's brother finds him laying dead.

  • After alot of hard work, I can FINALLY work!
  • Doodle's brother was a dynamic character because at the very beginning of the story, he was even  planning to kill his own brother, Doodle. But, towards the end of the story, he loved him dearly even if he did get on his nerves sometimes.
  • Figurative Language
  • YESSS FINALYY!!! 
  • Doodle, just as his brother is a dynamic character because at the beginning of the story he wasn't able to walk and was discouraged. Throughout the story, he began to have more confidence in himself and ended up being able to walk without much help.
  • I CANNNNTTT!
  • The Theme for this story was, "Hard work pays off". In the story the author states that it did take a while for Doodle to even stand alone, he had to work very hard and had to believe in himself to be able and walk, as he did towards the end of the story.
  • Some examples of figurative language in this story are found in the scene where Doodle was suddenly able to walk. It said that their laughs filled the air which wasn't literal but showed how happy they were.
