Crispin is an innocent peasant boy who lives under the reign of Lord Furnival of Stromford. His mother Asta has just recently passed and he is lost on what to do with his life.
Crispin was declared a wolfs head after accusations of him stealing from the kings manor released by John Ayecliffe. He is hunted by soldiers on horseback.
Crispin fled Stromford without a trace but John Ayecliffe has been sent out to find him and bring him back, he killed the priest for assisting crispin too.
Crispin meets this strange priest named Bear in a deserted villege.
Bear teaches Crispin a few things about juggling and music and changes his personality overtime and shows that crispin is changed.
Crispin learns about his past and that he is the son of lord Furnivali and that he has changed as a character in hole from respect being brave and courageous
