As a southerner, I believe that every slave should count as a person, but only when counting citizens for representation. Other than that, they shouldn't count. (If this happens, I'll gain lots of power because of how many slaves the south owns! But, if slaves count as people all of the time, I'll have to pay extra taxes.)

Silence! Here is a compromise. 3/5ths of slaves will count as people when paying taxes AND counting for representation.
We federalists think that the constitution is the best way to control the states. It has ways to ensure that one branch of the government won't be in total control. The Anti-Federalists don't understand that we need to have more power unless we WANT another Shay's Rebellion.
We Anti-Federalists believe that the best way to control the states is to create a Bill of Rights, and let the states go from there. That way government won't be in charge of everything. If we do this, then we won't become a replica of England, unlike what the Federalists want.
Ok, how about this: we have the constitution, but also include a Bill of Rights as long as the Anti-Federalists vote in favor of the Constitution.
