  • Exposition
  • Come on over Daedalus.
  • Rising action
  • Will you build for good pay?
  • Sure!
  • What have I done
  • Rising action
  • Where is food?
  • Roar
  • I am King Minos. I live on the island of Crete. I have heard of a great craftsman, maybe I will invite him over.
  • Rising action
  • May I leave now?
  • Daedalus and his son Icarus come to the island. King Minos asks Daedalus to build a cage for his monster.
  • Climax
  • Not too high or too low!
  • Dad! (sigh)
  • After Daedalus builds the cage he finds out what it is used for!
  • Falling action
  • Daedalus asks if he can leave Crete but, King Minos says not. they now have to stay in Crete until they die.
  • Daedalus builds wings. Next they jump off a cliff and start to fly over the ocean. Daedalus clearly tells Icarus not to fly too high or too low.
  • As they started to fly Icarus started to get excited and fly Higher and higher. The wax on his wings soon started to melt off.
