Storyboard Text

  • I'm farming wheat! I must go thank Pharaoh for this harvest. Now I will have to work on his monument.
  • Maybe Pharaoh won't make me work on his sphinx after I pay tax?
  • But I work all year! I simply must have a break! But I will surely be punished If I do not work!
  • Now you must help build my monument.
  • A farmer successfully harvests his wheat. He must now give part of his harvest to the pharaoh as tax. This farmer is part of the 80% of Egypt's population, farmers.
  • I wish that we din't need to work.
  • *Cough cough* I think that I am sick.
  • No you're not. Get back to work!
  • The poor farmer now goes to the pharaoh to thank him for the successful harvest and to pay tax. The pharaoh Khafre is going to make his farmers and slaves work on his new monument, the Sphinx.
