  • Introduction
  • Ok this is a wired place to put wine
  • Come down< the wine is down here!!!
  • claim
  • No i'm fine lets make a toast
  • You should go back its cold you will get ill
  • Reason
  • This is a very strange place for wine?
  • It's in there you go first
  • In the short story "The Cast Of Amontillado" By Edgar Allen Poe, there was a jester named Fortunato that insulted Montresor. Montresor felt angry so vowed revenge. So he tricked him into his vaults and would get his revenge there.
  • Textual evidence
  • Now where?
  • In that room go all the way in.
  • Montresor revenge was Justified because Fortunato was making Montresor look horrible and made him feel angry and upset.
  • Analysis
  • I gave you a chance to go back and you didn't. All the pain and sorrow you put me though. IT's time for you to feel that now.
  • Mntresor was justified because Fortunato put him through pain and Montresor didn't say anything back. He just finally gave up and decided to get revenge.
  • Conclusion
  • I got my revenge.
  • "Fortunato had insulted me. So I vowed revenge..."That's it! I cried. I was so delighted with my own genius. I fairly danced about my house! It won't be long now! I promised myself".
  • This evidence supports my claim because it shows that Montresor couldn't hold in his pain of Fortunato making fun of him. Montresor wanted revenge for all the the pain Furtunato put him throught and wanted him to suffer just like he did.
  • In conclusion Montresor was justified for the murder of Fortunato because he put Montresor through pain and made Montresor reputation look bad.
