Jeffery just bought a water bottle at the store on his way home from work
Jeffery said "Why is this water bottle wet? Is there a leak in the bottle?"
Sorry I am a little green from my last experiment but I am going to explain condensation and why the bottle is wet. There is no leak in the bottle. The water molecules in the air (humidity) are landing on the bottle making it wet.
They are sticking since the water is cold and the molecules move slower so they won't bounce of of each other leave the bottle.
Now I am boiling water to show evaporation. This is how the water molecules get into the air.
Evaporation is when water molecule heat up. The molecules move so fast that they spread out and become a gas. The gas is called water vapor. I hope you have learned a lot about evaporation and condensation. How do you turn your skin back into normal colors?
