The day was April 15, 1865. And Abraham Lincoln was talking with his wife about going to see the play "Our American Cousin at Ford's Theatre". I am hiding on the roof.
Lincoln only had one bodyguard, and at intermission, that bodyguard was in a nearby saloon. During this time, Lincoln was completely vulnerable and John Wilkes Booth took advantage of that and shot him in the back of the head. After he took the shot, he jumped onto the stage, breaking his leg. Again, I am hiding on the roof.
About 10 days later, authorities tracked Wilkes Booth to an old farm in Virginia and shot him in the back of the neck. Yet again, I am hiding on the roof
