  • "Aloysius! Poppy, that's the name we saw on the rabbit mask!" "none of them look particularly special,"
  • Poppy and Dylan got into a fight over the tv show him and his brother was in and they decided to separate.They were searching the house and separated because they got angry at one another.Poppy was deciding to go and check a place out again and did not want to have Dylan near her.
  • Initial Dialogue or Event
  • Poppy is trying to find clues in the office. She finds out that she missed a section and stumbles upon a folder titled Specials and stores it in her bag for later use.
  • Propelling action
  • “The tune in his head grew louder, as if the Musician were begging Marcus to let it out. The ivory pieces almost grinned at him as he sat down on the bench.Then, inhaling sharply Marcus began to play...Finally, Marcus had an audience. And he found that he liked it.
  • The five of them, Poppy, Dylan, Dash, Marcus, and Azumi were in the elevator looking at the folder and learning things about the children that were attacking them and they came to find out enough. about them that could help them once they fought again
  • Outcome
  • 2.)" 'And what's that?' asked Azumi" 5.) " ' To trap us.' "
  • Marcus and the rest of the characters were in the first music room that they had seen and while everyone was worried about the door and the how they blocked it, Marcus was trying to find a way to help. Marcus had seen the instruments and he had an idea but was unclear if it would work or not.
  • "Boom! Boom! Boom! The furniture at the door shivered slightly. Marcus knew he needed to do something to help everyone here. And quickly.
  • Marcus started to play the piano because he was hearing it very strongly as if telling him to let it out. When he did this it cause the attacking to stop and it made it appear that they mysterious children were backing off as if this song was a protection spell.
  • " 'Marcus' Said Dash, 'Whatever you're doing its working.' "
  • This shows how the plot got propelled because the characters, Marcus, Azumi, and Poppy just found out that Dylan has been dead. This propels the plot because it allows the characters to grow closer and find a way to work better together and not to mention that he just found out that if they give the children what was taken away they would disappear and be able to leave. This is also where the book leaves off and gets ready to get into the next book.
  • 1.)" 'At least we know now what we have in common.' " 3.)" 'We've all been haunted,' said poppy. 'In our own way. Maybe that's the real reason we're here. Maybe that's how this place, or spirits inside it, were able to find us.' "
