  • Man, this place makes the best sandwiches!
  • I know! The food here's actually pretty good!
  • Wait, what? Where did our plates go?
  • Little do these two know that their body is about to go through a very complicated and wonderful process-the digestive process!
  • Where did you even come from!?
  • What!? How the heck did we even get here!?
  • You see, it all starts with the mouth. Your teeth grind up the food that you eat, specifically your incisors and bicuspids. The molars grind and crush food into a fine paste. Your tongue then pushes that paste down your esophagus, where it makes it's way to the stomach!
  • Huh, neat...
  • Ugh, I'm gonna be sick ~n~
  • And once that food is in your stomach, stomach acids break the food down. Did you know that one of the strongest acids in the world is in your stomach, with a thin layer barely protecting your insides?
  • Lady, are you TRYING to make me barf!?
  • Actually, most of your digestion is done in the small intestine. Little things called villi absorb important nutrients from the pre-digested food, and sends the remains to the large intestine. It reabsorbs water that is used in digestion and eliminates undigested food and fibre.
  • SHH! I'M TRYING TO LEARN HERE! GAH!
  • And once that waste makes it's way to your rectum, you're ready to use the bathroom! And so the digestive cycle ends
  • Speaking of which... >n<
