I love Gypsum it's so great it has a Moh's hardness of 2 and it is my favorite Sulfate.
Gypsum is only harder than talc. It has a vitreas reflection of light. And is used in cement, So it will help me build a wall between Mexico and America.
The structure of gypsum is monoclinic. And can be many different colors including Clear, white grey, red, and brown.
Some Characteristics of sulfates are that most are soluble have a vitereus luster and an average hardness.
Some minerals that are harder are diamonds and quartz.
