  • Abigail Williams had an affair with John Proctor and Abby wants John all to herself. However John wants Elizabeth only and Abby is a self seeking person and does what she must to have what she wants.
  • Wipe it from mind Abby we never touched.
  • Aye, but we did.
  • Judge Danforth is a corrupt judge because he is more concerned about his image than protecting innocent women from a self seeking child
  • I do not mistrust you child..
  • Mary Warren cares more about saving herself than speaking the truth
  • I will come to you in the black of some terrible night and I will bring a pointy reckoning that will shudder¨ (Miller 148)
  • Abby did not expect John to deny her love a chose Elizabeth Proctor over her. Abby must come up with a plan to get rid of Elizabeth.
  • Abby frames a lot of girls for witchcraft including Elizabeth due to a needle stuck in a poppet and needle stuck in Abby
  • I must chain them all John
  • Danforth believes Abigail's lies and sees through on the death of all accused.
  • Danforth starts to believe that he could have been wrong about witchcraft in Salem.

  • Abigail threatens anyone who dares breathe a word about what really happened
  • John wants Mary to tell the truth so Elizabeth wont be killed but she is to scared of Abby
  • Elizabeth is arrested while John begs them not to chain her like an animal.

  • Reverend Hale questions judge danforths decisions due to not enough evidence for the case.
  • Mary Warren would rather watch other women hang than confess to lying and have Abby murder her.
  • She'll kill me for saying that! Abby'll charge lechery on you, Mr Proctor! (Miller 178).
