  • Your husband, he has finally returned!
  • Hmmmm...
  • Mother, why are you so distant, this is your husband!
  • My dear wife!
  • Play dem tunes boi.
  • Penelope doesn’t believe Eurycleia when she tells her Odysseus is back and weeps.
  • It Is you!
  • Has someone cut down the tree I expertly built into our bed?!
  • She still doesn’t believe when she sees Odysseus with her own eyes. Telemachus rebukes her for this.
  • Hurry Telemachus, before we are seen!
  • *Spreads magical mist*
  • Odysseus decides they need to lay low for a while, and the bard strikes up a tune so no passers-by can tell what has happened.
  • Penelope is still wary, and orders Eurycleia to move her bridal bed, which Odysseus is angered at as the bed is essentially unmoveable and she now knows it is her husband.
  • Odysseus leaves the next day with Telemachus and they are shrouded in darkness from Athene, so no one sees them.
