Cyberbullying is something that is going on a lot today due to texting and social media. The cyberbullies feel like they're protected because they're able to hide behind the screen. There are many rules protecting children from being cyberbullies. In fact, many schools have policies about cyberbullying. The consicuences can be a parent teacher conference to suspension or in some cases, even getting expelled! It's really important that the victim or their friends tell a trusted adult about the bully or stand up to him in order to stop them from continuing to bully others. It can be hard to work up the confidence to stand up to the bully because you may be scared that he'll start bullying you as well. Just remember, even if you're scared, it's important to stand up for yourself and others. Be an up stander! Not a bystander.
After having that experience, Miranda decided to create a Facebook page that posted compliments about people at her school.
Lydia's outfit was so cute today! And her hair looked so pretty! @LydiaRose
