Storyboard Text

  • DNA structure are two chains twisted around each other called double helix made of deoxyribose and  phosphates which are bound together by  patterns of nitrogen bases.
  • end
  • the next is up, to you. Do not forget to make a presentation with an explanation with your own words and examples  of how DNA reproduces.
  • This place is like the nucleus because the computers have a lot of information in which people  unpack it and use it.  If I put my information and characteristics in the computer, it will unwind it just like the Helicase unwinds DNA and send it to the printer to make a copy of me .
  • The photocopier is like DNA polymerase . It copied my picture from getting information just like the DNA polymerase copies the sequences using information from RNA primers.
  •
  •  This picture represent the base pairing rule which  is in charge of pairing  the nitrogen bases A with T and C with G but sometimes there can be errors like pairing a nucleotide in the wrong place and can lead to mutation.  however, this does not happen very often because the mistake is fixed by DNA replication.
  • mutation
  • semi- conservative
  • how does DNA reproduces more DNA?
  • good job! any questions?!
  • thank you for paying attention!      End
