  • Let's take a walk through the Cell Cycle town!
  • Interphase is when the DNA doubles and is living happily doing it's job.
  • The first step is Interphase, it is like the first part of our walk!
  • Prophase is when the chromosomes form and spindle fibers form.
  • Next stop is Prophase,do any of you guys know what that is?
  • Perfect!!
  • That way to Anaphase park
  • The Metaphase diner i so good, but what does Metaphase mean?
  • Metaphase Diner
  • Metaphase is when the chromosomes line up in the middle of the cell and the spindle fibers attach to the Centromere
  • Next left to Telophase City
  • Welcome to Anaphase park
  • In the Stage of Anaphase what exactly happens?
  • In this stage the paired chromosomes separate and move to opposite sides of the cells.
  • This way to the Cytokinesis Fair
  • The separated chromatids arrive opposite poles of the cell, and a new nuclear membrane forms around them. The cell begins to pinch in.

  • You have now reached the end of Cell Cycle town!
  • This stage results in two,separate,genetically identical daughter cells,each with one nucleus
  • The last and final stage of the Cell Cycle is Cytokinesis.
