Eleanor Smith: "How have you been Mr. Edwards? Three nights have passed since we last met." Mr. Edwards: "I have been well. I am here on business with Mr.Collins. Your father has invited me to dinner, and, of course, I accepted."
Mr. Edwards: "Mr. Smith, I have heard you have finally married off your eldest daughter." Mr. Smith: "Why yes! Susanna was one to be quite shy. I was worried she wouldn't marry." Mr. Edwards: "I have heard she married a soldier?" Mr. Smith: "Yes! Now I just have two daughters left."
Mr. Smith: "Eleanor, I am sure the recent loss of your mother has effected you and your sister in finding a suitable bachelor." Eleanor: "Yes, it has. My sister and I have not been able to attend as many parties and meet as many men as we have been mourning our mother."
Mr. Edwards: "Well I must be going. My father has requested me back for an important dinner with Mr. Collins tonight." Mr. Smith: "Thank you for being so kind as to dine with us tonight. I hope to see you another day." Eleanor: "Goodbye Mr. Edwards, I hope we can see each other again vert soon. Mr.Edwards: "As do I Miss Eleanor."
*2 days later* Eleanor: "Oh, Mr. Edwards! You are back so soon!" Mr. Edwards: "Yes, your father and I conspired and I am here to ask of you if you would gift me in being my wife for the rest of our lives? Eleanor: "Oh, yes! Of course! It would be my greatest pleasure to be your wife for all eternity!"
*After the Wedding* Mr. Edwards: *taking Eleanor's hand* "Hurry up now Mrs. Edwards. I want to show around your new home, my love." Eleanor: "Hearing you call me that makes my heart race. I never thought I'd be standing here with you." Mr. Edwards: "I am very thankful that you are, for I could not live without you. Now come inside before you catch a cold, my dear."
