  • CONFLICT
  • The background of a story explains the setting, and characters. In the story The Hunger Games, the setting is in the forest, katniss' house, the training center, and the arena. the main characters were Katniss Everdeen, Petah Mallark, Primrose Everdeen, Cinna, and a lot more.
  • CLIMAX
  • The rising action of The Hunger Games is when Primrose gets picked to be in The Hunger Games. Katniss refused to let her so she took her place instead. They went through training. Before she left, she didn't forget what she promised Primrose. she would win for her no matter what.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • The conflict of the story is when the fight, also known as The Hunger Games, which happens every year for the governor's entertainment. Most of the people get killed in the beginning, but katniss escaped. When she does get caught, she climbs a tree, while her foes fail to get to her.
  • RESOLUTION
  • The climax of The Hunger Games is when Katniss meets Rue. They set up traps, and attempt a very dangerous stunt. Katniss feels happy for once. After the trap works, blowing up a camp. When Katniss and Rue meet up, Rue gets a spear to her back. Katniss felt as if there was no hope left. She made a flower bed for Rue. Then she set off to find Petah.
  • The falling action of the story was when there were three contestants left, and they had monsters after them. There can only be one winner so the foe gets shoved off, he gets mauled. As I said, there can only be one winner.
  • The resolution of the story The Hunger Games is when Katniss Everdeen and Petah Mallark win The Hunger Games. In the ending, the two main characters tried to kill there self, because the other refused the other to die. They didn't kill each other, instead they won together.
