The Seven Pomegranate Seeds
I am Demeter, the goddess of agriculture and marridge
I'll think about it
Give me Core!!!!!!!! As my WIFE
Demeter is the goddess of agriculture and marriage, often holding a golden torch and wearing big bright ribbons
She once had a child with Hades, the god of the underworld. Her name was Core (Later to be known as Persephone)
She has eaten seven pomegranate seeds SHE CAN NEVER LEAVE
Mother I'm so sorry but its true
Later on in life Hades has fallen in love with his daughter, Core and goes to Zeus and demands he has her as his wife...
Zeus made the mistake of giving Hades the answer of "I'll think about it" - He then stole Core and took her to the underworld... Once Demeter noticed she was missing she put the overworld into a horrible starvation, only ending it once Core was returned to her.
After a while, Demeter found Core, only now she has become the menacing goddess of death. Demeter wants to take her back, and (now known as Persephone) also wishes to return home, but she cannot as she has eaten the food of the underworld.
Finally, they came to a compromise - Persephone was to spend one quarter of the year every ear with Hades in the underworld and spend the other three with Demeter in the overworld. This story and the compromise is believed to represent the four seasons, as for winter it is cold and harder to get on - when Persephone is with Hades, and then it goes into happy days and sunshine - the other three seasons
