Bradys storyboard: The gold rush
By footeb, Updated
A family moves west to go venture for gold on a dangerous journey through the mountains, maybe...
Here, this very place, was my home. I never wanted to leave because life was good, few chores and good area of land.
We were headed to California for a new life. We had found our first spot to stop but we had to settle in because it was going to take about three to six months to get there.
We have now reached the mountains after four and a half months of traveling, we are ready to take it on.
I did like my home now but, I have just heard of this gold stuff, what is such a thing, GOLD!!! Unbelievable. We had a great life but with gold it would be unbelievable.
We had found a trail to somewhere special right through the mountains but it could be dangerous but it could lead to freedom.
I was with my family on this journey. My dad, bob, my mom, Susie, my sister, Susie the second, and my two brothers, bob the second, and bob the third. My name is timtom.
We then saw light and we all sprinted, we found land, Californa! We would start a new life and maybe find gold with 200,000 others.
We will have to find a place to stay, we were walking for awhile and we found a trail that could change our lives and give us freedom possibly...
We were given our new home and we were all exited, new home, new life, but, we noticed something, Bob the second was dead, it was a tough journey but he didnt make it.
WE decided top pack up and go through the tunnel looking for freedom, we went in and it was pitch black, when we heard a scream, we turned wity the flashlight and bob the second had just died. We felt empathy but we had to keep moving while we were crying.
The railroad took us there, we were headed around finding new people and getting us started off wit our new life, thank you so much for this journey and this new beautiful life.
We had a wake for him and celebrated later , we were ready to put that aside and look for some gold and venture out in the new world.
