Starts at the police station, when Sophia says she witnessed her ballet teacher push her ballet assistant into the branch of the tree. Detective Ashwood was the only detective who put herself forward for the case, to prove to people that she could do it, as people didn't think she was a good detective.
They don't believe Sophia but goes to investigate anyway. Police investigate the murder that Sophia had reported, and find a 18 year-old girl who was wearing the same clothes and looked the same as Sophia had described, also the girl who was murdered had the same injury as Sophia had described.
They rule out the ballet teacher as a suspect, as she was seen driving away in her car 10 minutes before this tragic murder had happened. They saw this in CCTV footage. The car was driving away at a normal speed and wasn't rushing to get away so it obviously wasn't her.
They suspect the boyfriend (Connor Fray) as he was seen shouting at her and they were having a big argument. They also suspected the owner of the studio (Madame Bellrose) as she was really mean to Lucy and the last thing Lucy said was 'What a pretty face!' also she couldn't state where she was at the time Lucy was murdered.
Jane Luck asked her daughter Sophia where her new ballet shoes were, she bursts into tears and tells her mum that Lucy knocked her ballet shoes in a puddle and Sophia got really angry. Jane said that she was going to call the police and Sophia got even more annoyed.
Sophia gets mad and pushes her mum into the glass cabinet and Jane dies!
