Storyboard Text

  • It was a windy winter evening and soft snow covered the ground. Those at the court of Camelot were enjoying a cheerful Christmas feast. As King Arthur stood at the head of his table to tell a tedious tale, they were inturrupted.
  • A glorious Green Knight entered the court, and challenged Arthur to cut his head off and receive the same stroke in return a year and a day later. Gawain humbly took the challenge in protection of King Arthur.
  • A year later, Gawain left the Court of Camelot in search of the Green Knight. Having traveled for days, he became extremely weak and weary. Gawain soon stopped at a nearby castle and was warmly welcomed by the Lord Bertilak. The virtuous knight could have never guessed that he would soon be tempted like never before.
