Storyboard Text

  • As chief Legislator the president has responsabilities such as influencing the government in making bills however he does not make them and he gets to veto or sign bills presented to him.
  • When I came into office I knew that a bill needed to be put in place and that bill would be that shelters would not be allowed to euthanize unless their health is critical and is forcing them to suffer.
  • Dear Congress I believe if we set a law that does not allow animals to be euthanized in shelters unless they cannot recover from their injury, then the animal rights will be supported and less animals will be killed every year in our country. This could help us as well because other countries will look up to us to get a lower death rate in animals.
  • Mr. President the House of Representatives and the Senates have sent you a Bill that reads: In no situation would shelters euthanize animals unless their condition is too serious for recovery, the first offense would be $350 and there will be further punishment if offended again.
  • I will sign this Bill however I will explain to my country that I will keep enforcing laws to save our animals .
  • Bill: Signed The Prez Francesca DiLollo
  • As President I want out animals to have the same rights as us and I believe that this Bill will ensure their safety in shelters, however I will not stop here and I will continue to make a safe country for all the creatures living in it.
