With heavy thump, and lifeless lump, (internal rhyme)
the Mariner points to the ship, and the men are overjoyed. The crew then gets scared noticing that they are coming with no wind or tide.
the shipmates then fear for there lives, as they notice this is not a ship willing to help. The ship then gives the men the choice of life or death.
The moving Moon went up the sky, (Consonance)
As the moon rises his shipmates begin to drop down dead, right beside him. A spell is cast upon the mariner.
The wedding guest then fears, that the mariner died on that ship as well, and he is talking to a spirit. The Mariner then assures him that this is not the case.
For seven days, and seven nights the mariner lays on the ship with his dead crew, hopeless. He knows he can not die because of this spell.
the Mariner then feels the spell being lifted, and the albatross falls into the sea.
