I will help you fix your roof and I don't want the gold coin.
When Juan reached Don Tedosio's house, he quickly ran to the women and her daughter that were standing outside. " Did you see Dona Josefa? Asked Juan. "Yeah she just came and helped my husband and like if that wasn't enough, she offered us a gold coin and then we dropped her off at a man's house"said the women. Juan was stunned." How do I get there?" Asked Juan. "It's pretty far from here and I could drop you by horse but I need to finish gathering squash and beans" said the women. Juan helped gather squash and beans. The little girl came up to him and showed Juan a family of rabbits. Juan had smiled and it had been a long time since Juan had smiled. Early morning, they left by horse.
When Juan reached the man's house, he approached the man slowly. "Have you seen Dona Josefa?" Asked Juan. "Yes, she came to me to help my wife and like if that wasn't enough she offered us a gold coin" said the man. " Where can I find her?" asked Juan. "Across the river" said the man." Can you take me there?" asked Juan. "Yes but, I must finish picking my red berries and coffee grounds". Juan helped the man and the next day, he left across the river.
Juan finally found Dona Josefa and ran up to her. He was out of breath. Dona Josefa was stunned to see her house with no roof and it was ransacked. Dona Josefa gave the gold coin to Juan and he gave it back. He offered to fix her roof while she goes to help a person. Juan had changed because he helped people and it affected him because now he will continue to help people.
