In order to survive in the harsh artic weather, polar bears developed many adaptations to survive.
Polar bears have water-resistant hair, allowing them to keep warm in water, and dry off quickly when they leave it.
I can't catch a single meal! I'm heading south!
Polar bears gained white coats, making it easier to catch prey, who couldn't see the predator against the white backround.
Polar bears have a thic layer of fat, keeping them warm even in subzero temperatures.
The last polar bear adaptation is its size, which due to its high volume to surface area ration, allows it to keep as much heat as possible.
