  • OK. I know that first you must isolate the variable. That means that you have to - 16 to counteract the + 16. You would also have to do it to the other side to for equality.
  • I have a problem for you. Solve this problem: x/2+16=32.

  • So then in order to isolate the variable more we would need to use the inverse of division (multiplicaition) to get rid of the /2. You would also need to use the equality property here to.
