The Jackson Democracy represented the common man and had favored majority rule. Jackson also wanted power to the people!
The spoils system reformed the government and put more common people into the government. Jackson had managed to actually make the government for the people.
During the Indian removal policy, Jackson had made treaties with the tribes and said he would allow the Native Americans to adopt the white settler life style.
State's Rights: Jackson wished to preserve the federal union. He also wanted the south to stay in the union.
War on national bank/economic decisions: Jackson favored the constitution.
Jackson was the defender of people and wanted to get the bank more money, by making people pay with gold.
