Hello dear friends! My name is Bartolemu Diaz. Sorry to keep the introduction so short -- but I am off on a yearlong voyage to discover a route to India!
In 1488 Batolemu Diaz returned to Portugal -- having discovered the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Agulhas -- but failed to discover the much anticipated route to India. However, a rising star would pick up where Diaz left off
My King! Although I was unable to find the route to India, I discovered two capes in Africa -- I am confident we will be able to use this information to find route to India!
Wonderful! With a little more preparation and a few years time, we should be ready to send another explorer out!
