  • The Russo-Japanese War was between Russia and Japan over Korea's territory. Russia ended up losing in 1905 with thousands casualties.

  • Bloody Sunday happened during the rein of, Czar Nicholas II. Thousands of families were standing outside of his palace peacfully. The soldiers on duty decided to start shooting at the people, killin thousands o

  • Nicholas II forced Russia into joining World War 1. By him doing this the soldiers and the people at home turn against him especially when the food started running out. Millions died during the short amount of time involved in the war.
  • Civil War (1918-1920)

  • Thousands of women from the factories went on strike against the Romanov dynasty. they marched against them because of the poor working conditions in the factories and the low wages. As a result, Nicholas II stepped down from the throne.

  • Lenin took control and power of Russia after Czar Nicholas II and his family died. He took over the duma and killed Kerensky and his followers. Lenin gave all the land to the peasants equally, and takes Russia out of the war.
  • Yay we get more land!

  • The Civil War happened between the Bolshiviks (red army) and the anti- Bolshiviks (white army). They were fighting over their political future. This war caused more than 14 million peolpe to die.
