Mrs.Frizzle can you teach us about transcription and transition?
Ok billy. Everyone to the bus, it's time to learn science.
please mrs, the bus makes me sick!
Transcription starts with a DNA being unzipped by the enzyme called helicase. Then a copy is made called mRNA. mRNA can leave the nucleus and head to a ribosome.
My daddy's suing
The mRNA is used as a recipe to build a protein. It is read by a ribosome which then places amino acids, brought over by tRNA's, in the right order.
Careful... Ribosomes at work. Protiens keep left.
The newly made protein is just a set of amino acids put together by a ribosome. This protien can now leave and help the body function. This process is always happening in your body.
