IN 1846 he sued for freedom. He said he is in a free state and that he should be free.
I'll do the best I can. But I'm not too sure, you are that mans property.
He waited 11 years for his case to be noticed...
BY THE SUPREME COURT! They went over his case and hear both arguments of both parties.
The court is forced to rule on the consitutionality of slavery. Which was a big part in ending slavery. He won the missuouri case but lost the supreme case, yet Dred Scott changed so much.
