  • In chapter one Ranofer is working as a porter in Rekh ,the goldsmith`s making ingots and running errands.Ranofer wakes up thinking on what the wineskins are for and why does gebu want them.They notice Ranofers leave making and there imprest by he said "his father taught him"
  • Section 4 Ch.10-12
  • Ranofer tell Heqet thet he knows who is stealing gold but does not want to tell him because he was helping him.Ranofer gets has to go to the stone cutting shop because his brother.It is rough for Ranofer to work there
  • Section 5 CH.13-15
  • The days pass slowly for Ranofer as he becomes an duster in the stone cutting shop.Heqet asks Ranofer if he wants to go to Zau the masters house to get a stake for Rekh.Ranofer goes to the stonecutting shop sore form his last beating and then his see Gebu with new sandals and he thinks he is stealing again.

  • The three friends compare notes, but none are usefull so Ranofer decides to follow Gebu and it leads them to the street of masons.Ranofer finds the golden goblet and doesn`t realize that the seal is broken.Ranofer was scared to tell them about the golden goblet so he keep changing the subject to the festival
  • Ranofer followed Gebu through a narrow path and he lost them for a while and then he look behind the boulders to find out they made a secret passage to the queen`s parents tomb.when he came back he told his friends to gaurd it so they won`t get out.
  • When he get to Zau`s house he is not there so he goes to the palace to tell her that there in her parent`s tomb. but they need to ask him one question to see if he was in there it was "what was on the north wall of the tomb:?The answer was her fathers oaken staff.She belives him and gives him a reward he just wants a donkey.And thats a wrap for my Book report.
