Have you ever seen a teen spend so much time on their phone and not as much time in the real world?
No, but I do know some reasons to not be on the phone all the time. The first reason that I have to say, is we don't spend enough time together in person.
A typical teen sends 2,000 texts a month and spends more than 44 hours per week in front of a screen. The other reason, is kids might mistake the word "friends" on their social media feeds for true friends.
You don't need someone to like your picture or share your tweet, what you need is someone who will keep your secrets and hold your hand.
Connecting online is a great way to stay in touch.
Kids are so busy connecting online that they might be mine friendships.
Go spent some time interacting with friends and family instead of talking to them
