Lui Bang defeated Qin dynasty and started the han dynasty in 202 B.C. He also stopped the time of warring states. The time of warring states were like a cival war in China.
During Lui Bangs rule he worked to keep China stable and had many accomplishments. Some accomplishments were that he lowered taxes and his punishments were less cruel. One thing that he strongly belived in was a stong central government.
In 195 B.C Lui bang died. After his death his wife, Lu took over until his son was old enough. Lu appointed her grandson instead of her son because she could remain in power. She did this for many years.
After Lu had children rule so she could stay in power longer the villagers caught on and began to get angry.
After a couple of years Lu died. After her death a new ruler by the name of Wudi came into power.
They then executed all of Lu's relatives. They did this because they were worried that the relatives would do the same thing as Lu.
