  •   I live in the ocean, and I've lived here for a long time. I mean... MILLIONS of years. I love the ocean, and I never want to leave.  But one day, I went to the surface of the ocean to see the sky.  It was NOT a good idea I forgot that if I was going to go to the surface of the ocean, I was going to evaporate.
  • The Adventures of Mr. Drop
  • The process of evaporation is scary.  You might think "flying" is fun, but if you evaporate, you rise and then you separate into many smaller drops called "dropettes." Wind moved me over land, and then I turned into water vapor and rose even higher.

  • Today, I went through the process of condensation.  I got really cold, so I changed back into a liquid.  I became part of a cloud, and there were a lot of drops in there with me.  I had fun with the other drops in the cloud!  Who knew that being part of a cloud would be so fun!
  • Water Cycle Stories
  • After being in the clouds for a while, I finally went through the process of precipitation.  I came down as rain, and ended up on a farm. I went as runoff into a small pond.  I was happy for a while because it seemed a little like the ocean I used to live in, but I wasn't salt water. But one day, a cow DRANK me!!! NOOOOOOO!
  • After a relatively short time of being in the cow's body, I passed through... well... you already know.  I came out as waste.  And I stunk!!! But luckily, I ran down into a river.  Then, I went into a river.
  • The river brought me back home!  I am back in the ocean.  I now know the importance of the water cycle.  I will never know what my adventures will be.  Who knows?  Next time I might precipitate as snow!  Well, bye for now! I am just going to visit the surface of the ocean...
