In Africa the slaves were attacked and were kept as prisoners. They took them so they could sell them for goods.
Then they took us on a boat to be bought, and used as slaves to work for plantation owners.
Once they reached America they were sold on the block. The people told how fine looking they were, how healthy, and how they would benefit in working for slave masters.
They were given a place to live which was in the complete opposite of living condition. They had beds made out of straw and old rags.
There were many jobs that the slaves had to do. Some raised tobacco and corn, and tended to livestock.
