  • At midnight a man falling asleep at his chamber. He remembers it in the bleak December. He hears a tapping at his door. lonely because of his lost Lenore.
  • Falling Action
  • The raven that was at his window now sits at his doors. He questions it if he would see his loved Lenore, but the raven replies nevermore. He asked if it was from the heavens or form the shores of down bellow.
  • Resolution
  • He grows enraged because he'll never see Lenore, and yelled at the bird to go back from where it came but the raven said nevermore.
  • ONE literary element discussed in class
  • He yells at the bird once more to leave him broken and his loneliness once more. To leave the bust above his door, but the raven says nevermore.
  • Now the raven sits there above his chamber doors with the eyes that look like a demon and a shadow that will never be lifted nevermore.
  • In class we learned about allusion and that it can come in many forms like biblical.
