Storyboard Text

  • But JC was still confused, so they continued their conversation outside.
  • But I still don't understand, who is he? Is he a God? Or a human being like us?
  • He is both. I'll explain to you the Mystery of the Holy Trinity.
  • There are 3 personas, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit yet there is only one divine nature.
  • What?
  • The Father is God knowing himself, The Son is the expression of God's knowledge of himself, and The Holy Spirit is the result of God's love for himself.
  • The Father begets the son, and the Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father and the Son.
  • In John 10:30, Jesus said that "The Father and I are one". Meaning, all three are equally eternal. Just like in Phil. 2:6-7, it also talks about the equal nature of God.
  • So that means he is all-powerful, he can do anything, right?
  • Yes, he can.
  • So he can bring back my father if I just pray to him?
  • Then what's the point of knowing him?! I thought he is all-powerful and can do anything?
  • Yes he is. But it does not work that way.
  • I'm afraid it's not like that JC. He took your father for a reason.
  • Gerome tried to convince JC that God really does exist, but JC was still full of anger and still blames God for the loss of his father. Then another classmate will help him out...
  • But JC..
  • Ok...
  • Let's just go back to the classroom.
