British Parliment set many laws and taxes to punish Massachusetts. So in protest men from Boston pushed 348 chests of tea from a British Ship into the Boston harbor.
In what seemed to be the end of the Revolutionary War, Continental Congress got together to sign one of the most important papers in US history; the Declaration of Independence. This meant they were free of England's hold.
When British soldiars marched towards Lexington they got stopped by minute men .After the fight at Lexington there was another in Concord. Both battles resulted in 273 dead and a start of a revolution.
