Montresor finds Fortunato at Carnival.
Montresor takes Fortunato down into his cellar for the wine.
Fortunate begins coughing and Montresor suggests they leave.
*Cough* *Cough* *Cough*
I made Montresor have dark hair and grey eyes to show that he has a dark nature. I gave him a smirk to show that he has a plan involving wicked things. For his outfit, I made him have a red tunic to represent an evil side and wine, the main part of his plan. For Fortunato, I gave him a bright jester outfit, because in the story, it kept saying that Fortunate had a hat with jingling bells. I gave him grey hair and blue eyes to show his old age and his popular nature.
Montresor and Fortunato enter the crypt.
I had Fortunate and Montesor lock arms to show that Fortunato was trusting Montresor enough to follow wherever he leads him. I had Montresor take the mask off to show he felt that his carnival costume would not be of use in his own house.
Montresor and Fortunato arrive in the crypt and Montresor leads Fortunato into the vault.
For this part, I had to use shapes and create a torch with a flame so Montresor could guide Fortunate to the Amontillado. I also used a lot of different poses to help show the characters moods and emotions.
Montresor chains Fortunato in the vault chamber and seals him in.
For this part I made Fortunato seem tired and a bit annoyed to show that his cough was getting worse.
In this scene I used skulls and titled some of them to make the pile of bones Montresor used to hide the stones.
I used different sizes and poses to make Fortunato seem scared and aware that Montresor was trying to kill him.
