  • why are you putting us in slavery we're harmless?
  • You see, your kind is multiplying to fast and I can't let Egypt get taking over by you and your HEBREWS.
  • Let my people go. What did they ever do to you?
  • Their population was growing way to much and way to quick.
  • NOOOOOO! Why why would you do this to me he was my only son!
  • Fiiiiine I'll let them go.
  • Now will you let my people go?
  • Jacob and his family moved to Egypt because they were having a famine and Egypt had a lot of grain etc... As the Hebrews population grew the pharaoh grew mistrustful of them taking over Egypt. They also practiced MONOTHEISM or the belief in one god.
  • Ugh! This Heat is killing me!
  • Moses was an Israelite who grew up in the pharaohs palace as the prince of Egypt. God told Moses to free his people from slavery. Moses asked the pharaoh for permission to fulfill this COVENANT . "Let my people go!"
  • Moses, come to the top of Mt Sinai now! Its God.
  • Ugh! It is so early, but okay.
  • After every time the pharaoh said no, God placed one of the ten plagues upon Egypt. These include hardships such as, sicknesses, swarms of bugs, and the death of first born son in every Egyptian household. Passover is a holiday celebrated to remember the angel of death who gave the Israelites freedom.
  • Hey this Jericho place is pretty sweet.
  • After the tenth plague the pharaoh finally freed the Israelites. God opened the Red Sea for the Israelites to get to the Sinai Peninsula.
  • I know right this heat sucks.
  • God called upon Moses to go to the top of Mt Sinai and god gave Moses the ten COMMANDMENTS. Commandments were ETHICAL laws that contain ideas how Israelites should treat each other and god.
  • After living in the desert for Forty years, Moses wasn't there to protect the promised land from being conquered, but Mosses friend John conquered Jericho.
