What's Cellular Respiration?
Hmm.. Simple English Wikipedia says, "Cellular Respiration is the process of breaking down sugar into a form that the cell can use as energy".
Oxygen is needed for Cellular Respiration to make glucose into ATP. ATP is a molecule that is high energy. It's found in every cell!
Cellular Respiration occurs in the mitochondria of a cell.
Energy is created in the process of Cellular Respiration.
Cellular Respiration is important because it gives us energy to be able to do our everyday activities. This goes with other animals, too.
