Storyboard Text

  • Leave at once! All who question my authority shall be banished.
  • Whatever, but don't blame me; it's your own fault. I wouldn't have come if you didn't invite me.
  • Oh, prophecies are silly. Don't believe him, Oedipus. King Laius also was given a prophecy, one that said that his son would kill him and sleep with me, but we had our son killed, so that's impossible. Don't worry about it.
  • Jocasta, dear, I'm worried about what the prophet said. What if he's right? Maybe I did kill Laius, my father. When I was young, I was told that I would kill my father and sleep with my mother.
  • Are you kidding me? What are the odds?! I must find out more; this is ridiculous. The prophecies are too similar.
  • Please don't look into this, Oedipus. I simply don't know what I would do with myself if I found out that you were my son...
  • THE END
