The resolution in this story is when the manager has or hasn't paid for everything needed to expand the pharmacy. If Lucy wins the grant, she will call the new eco-spa "Pink and Green." This idea might save the pharmacy and Lucy is on her way to reach her dreams!
My favorite part about the book is when the popular home coming queen walks in the pharmacy. Lucy fixed her hair and Courtney spread the word. I was proud of Lucy for proving Courtney wrong. The theme of this book is to never give up. Everything is possible so chase your dream. Prove others wrong because you can achieve your dream. I did connect to the theme because I will never see the down side of things. I will always see it positive. I will reach my goal.
I recommend this book to middle school girls because if you love a hardworking 12 year girl, you are going to want to grab your hands on this book. And the book told me to never give up. I relate to Lucy because throughout the book she is a determined, hard working problem solver.
