What is my dream?
“Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” - Mark Twain
How am I going to give back?
My dream is to help others in any way that I can, and being a dermatologist interests me the most. I want to make people feel their best inside and out and also treat serious diseases such as skin cancer.
The first step that is needed to achieve this dream of mine is to major in biochemistry. The colleges nearby that supports this dream of mine is UCSD or UCI, and continue with medical school, such as UCSF or UCSD. After that, I would do a year of internship before applying in a 3-4 year residency in dermatology.
After the grueling process of becoming a dermatologist, I’d first thank my parents and family members for supporting me. With the income, I’d take everyone on a huge family trip, start a successful family business in Indonesia to help support my family there, and spend more time with my parents. I’d also give back to the community by donating money and volunteering overseas.
