- Hi! My name is Billy Sims. Maybe you've heard of me? Well, I was a football player 1980-1984, playing for the Detroit Lions. To learn more about me, look at the following pages!
- My birthplace was St. Louis, Missouri. I was born on September 18, 1955.
- While in eighth grade, I moved to Hooks, Texas.
- In my early years, I played baseball. It wasn't until I moved to Texas, that I had an interest in football.
- I played football for 3 years in Hooks High School. I even set a State record, currently behind Robert Straits, of running 1,128 times, for 7,738 yards.
- Touchdown!
- Ouch!
- In one game, after I joined the Detroit Lions, a football hit my head.You might be wondering, what the solution was. Well, I actually woke up by myself! Even though I woke up, I still had to take a lot of rest. In fact, It was sort of a minor injury.
