  • Coming Home Alive and Healthy
  • "I'm so happy your home!"
  • "I feel a lot better!"
  • A. B. Combs Elementary Magnet School. (K-1)

  • 6x7=?

  • "I know!"
  • Once I got healthy enough I was finally able to come back home. I got to be with my family again, I got to be with my brother again, and I got to lay down with my cats again. I did not have to worry (about life or death), and my friends could come over again. I could lay down at night without being woken up by a huge machine pumping air into my lungs and I could wake up in the morning in a good mood.

  • In kindergarten it was always like this in the morning; "Mommy I don't want to go!", "Daddy I'm scared!", and "Mommy I don't like school!". I would always come home feeling happy but the next morning I would still complain. In first grade I was ready to go. I was all used to school by then and I had learned to like my school, A.B. Combs Magnet Elementary.
  • 1st and 5th Days of Middle School at Moore Square
  • 1st
  • "How do I open this lock?!?"
  • 5th
  • "Easy peasy lemon squeasy."
  • In second grade I was all frustrated over math. It was hard to figure that stuff out like 25+15 or 33-17. It kept getting harder and harder but after many days of practicing I finally got the hang of it. In third grade we started to learn multiplication and division. It was really easy for me to learn them because multiplication is just like additionx2 and division is just like subtractionx2. even though it was easy for me there are always still ones every now and the that I and everyone struggle on.
  • Today
  • By fourth grade I had made many friends but all of them had either moved away, gone to a different school, or we just stopped our friendship. So fourth grade was pretty lonely at lunch. In fifth grade I had made many new friends so my table was full of people! Some I had made last year while others where brand new. Some I even still have today!
  • Lonely...
  • Finally, friends.
  • On the first day of middle school it was a BIG change. One big change is that my school is downtown. Another is that we have 8 periods. The biggest change is lockers. We spent 3 days trying to get the hang of those annoying combination locks. By the fifth day of school We had the locks down, especially me. Everything else took a little bit longer to adjust to but now I'v got the hang of it.
  • Here I am today, creating a storyboard on www.storyboardthat.com for our English language arts teacher, Ms. Maye. (I presume Ms. Maye or Mrs. Poindexter is reading this) Once this day ends there is no telling what will happen in my life! I might become an astronaut or an archaeologist, an anthropologist or a movie actor. All I know now is that no matter what happens, I need to keep moving forward.
